Transcribe Webex Events recordings every session of the conference.
A virtual conference run on Webex Events leaves one recording per session; download them and upload them together, and each 45-minute session is text in about 90 seconds. Twelve such sessions come to 540 minutes, more than the 500 in the $6 pack, so the $12 pack of 2,000 covers them with 1,460 left, after the first 20 minutes free.
A conference is many recordings
Several hours across tracks, and the on-demand library needs every one.
Session by session
Webex Events keeps recordings per session rather than one file for the day. Download each from the event's recording or content area, usually as an MP4, and check the export settings if a session is missing.
Ninety seconds a session
At about 2 minutes per hour of audio, a 45-minute breakout takes about 90 seconds and a 90-minute keynote about 3. A twelve-session day is done well before the closing remarks are edited.
The pack for a whole event
Twelve sessions of 45 minutes are 540 minutes, past the 500 in the $6 pack. The $12 pack of 2,000 covers that event and three more of the same size, and the credits never expire.
Content from every talk
Each session gets its own brief, chapters and quotes. Upload the batch on upload page and the session pages, the recap post and the sponsor report can all be drafted from text. Sponsors usually want to know where their speaker came up, and one question in the chat over the transcript answers that.
After the event
The recordings exist. Turning a dozen of them into content is the slow part.

FAQ
Webex Events recordings, answered.
How long does each session take?
About 2 minutes per hour of audio: roughly 90 seconds for a 45-minute session, 3 minutes for a 90-minute keynote. Upload each one as soon as it is downloaded; there is no need to wait for the whole set.
What does a full Webex Events conference cost?
Twelve 45-minute sessions are 540 minutes, which needs the $12 pack of 2,000 and leaves 1,460. A three-day event with 40 sessions of the same length is 1,800 minutes, still inside that pack. A single keynote of 90 minutes fits the $6 pack of 500.
Is there a Webex Events integration?
No. There is no plugin, bot or connected account. Download each session recording, then upload the files; if a session was also published on YouTube or Vimeo, paste that link instead.
Will I need to split a session recording?
Rarely. One file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, so even a stage recorded all day goes in whole unless it runs past 10 hours. A session file over 2 GB waits until a pack is on the account, then starts.
Our event had sessions in Spanish and Japanese. Does that work?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, recording by recording, so each session is read in its own main language. A session that switches between two languages is detected on its main one, and the switches are handled.
Which exports, and what about privacy?
Every Webex Events session exports as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
