Look in the recording app
A Zoom local recording usually sits in a Zoom folder under Documents. A Teams meeting recorded to the cloud is saved to OneDrive or SharePoint, where the MP4 can be downloaded. OBS Studio writes to the path in its Output settings, and any other app names its folder in its own recording settings.
Framing does not change the words
Tracking and auto-framing move the picture around the room; they do nothing to the sound. The transcript is made from the audio track, so the microphone you taught with matters far more than the camera mode you picked.
Size of a 4K lecture
Recorded in OBS at 12 Mbps, one hour is 12 × 3,600 ÷ 8 = 5,400 MB, about 5.4 GB, which is already past the 5 GB limit. Saved as an MP3 at 96 kbps, the same hour is roughly 43 MB and carries every word.

Does the Insta360 Link save recordings on its own?
It is a webcam, so the recording is made by the app on the computer it was plugged into. Find the file there. WhipScribe is not connected to the camera or to its software and works only on the file you upload.
How long does a 90-minute webcam lecture take to transcribe?

What does one lecture cost, and a whole course?
The opening 20 minutes are free when you first visit. A single 90-minute lecture uses 90 minutes of the $6 pack of 500 minutes. A 13-lecture course of 1,170 minutes calls for the $12 pack, and because credits never expire, what is left carries into next term.
My 4K recording is over 2 GB. Will it go?
Before the first pack, uploads are capped at 2 GB; once a pack is on the account, a file up to 5 GB and 10 hours starts. For a lecture, an MP3 of the audio is far smaller and yields the same text.
Can a lecture mix languages?
The language is detected from the audio among 99, with nothing to choose beforehand. A lecture given in one language with technical terms from another is read on its main language.
Where is the lecture processed?
Every lecture is transcribed on our own servers and never used for training. Deleting a recording removes its transcript as well.
