Transcribe long recordings from a Mevo camera from the replay link or the card.
When a Mevo stream went to YouTube or Vimeo, paste the replay link; when it was recorded to the card, upload that file, which is usually an MP4. A 4-hour stream is text in about 8 minutes, the first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the other 220.
From the stream to the page
Services, games and conferences streamed on a Mevo, available as text the same day.
Paste the link when you can
A stream that went to YouTube, including a live replay, or to Vimeo needs no download: paste its link and the audio is fetched for you. A replay on Facebook has to be downloaded first and then uploaded. A stream recording longer than 6 hours begins once a pack is on the account.
Or upload the card file
Mevo cameras can record to a microSD card while they stream. Copy the file from the card, usually an MP4; check your recording settings for the format. A long file can be sent whole, up to 10 hours or 5 GB.
Six months of Sundays
Twenty-six weekly services of 2 hours come to 3,120 minutes. That is beyond the $12 pack, so the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes is the one to buy, with 1,880 minutes left, and the credits never expire.
What a long stream turns into
A brief with the main message and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, key quotes, and the names, dates and announcements spoken. Worship music and crowd noise are not transcribed; the teaching and commentary are.
Stream recordings elsewhere
A long stream is one of the hardest files to get transcribed in one piece.

Hours of speech, buried in a replay.
- OpenAI's Whisper API turns away files over 25 MB

- Free tools that halt at the 30-minute mark
- Announcements written up by hand
- Timestamps lost between parts
- Streams that nobody watches twice
✓ Replay link in, text out
The full stream on one timeline.
- YouTube or Vimeo link, no download
- Eight minutes or so for 4 hours
- Card files up to 5 GB
- Chapters for each part of the stream
- Free for the stream's first 20 minutes
- $24 for half a year of services

FAQ
Mevo recordings, the common questions.
How long does a 4-hour stream take?
About 8 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes for each audio hour. Longer streams scale the same way: 9.31 hours took 1,033 seconds on the proof page.
What will a stream, or six months of them, cost?
A first-time visitor has 20 minutes free. A 4-hour stream is 240 minutes on the $6 pack of 500 minutes. Twenty-six 2-hour services, 3,120 minutes, call for the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.
Is there a size limit for the card file?
A card file of up to 2 GB uploads before any pack, and up to 5 GB after one. Ten hours is the length limit for any one file, and a pasted link needs no upload at all.
The stream ran longer than 6 hours. What happens?
Any stream recording past 6 hours begins as soon as a pack is on the account. Past 10 hours, split the recording into two files.
Which languages can a stream be in?
99 languages, detected automatically, Tagalog, Portuguese and Korean among them. A stream that moves between two languages is detected on the main one, and English with Tagalog is handled.
What do I download, and is the stream private here?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON; the SRT can caption the replay. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, even when the stream itself was public.
