Transcribe services and lectures from PTZOptics cameras from the stream replay to searchable text.
A 100-minute service streamed from a PTZOptics camera comes back as text in under 4 minutes: paste the YouTube live replay link, or upload the file your switcher or streaming software recorded. The first 20 minutes are free; four Sunday services and four midweek hour-long meetings are 640 minutes, which fit the $12 pack of 2,000.
PTZ camera, written record
A PTZOptics camera points and streams. The recording usually lives somewhere else, and that is where you pick it up.
Where the recording actually is
PTZ cameras send their picture over SDI, HDMI, NDI or IP to a switcher, a hardware encoder or software such as OBS or vMix, and that is usually what records. Check the recording folder on the streaming computer or the encoder's storage; the file is often MP4 or MKV, depending on its settings.
The stream replay is a link
When the service or lecture streams to YouTube, the replay is ready to use: paste the link and the audio is fetched, with no download. Vimeo works the same way. For Facebook or a church app, download the recording first and upload it here.
Big files and long streams
A recorded stream of 100 minutes at a high bitrate can pass the 500 MB this box takes, so larger files continue on the upload page, up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, files are capped at 2 GB, and a stream replay over 6 hours starts once a pack is on the account.
What the media team gets
Each service returns with a brief of the message, chapters with timestamps for worship, readings, sermon and notices, and the scripture references, names and dates spoken. Lectures get the same treatment by topic. SRT and VTT add captions to the replay, and DOCX starts a blog post or study notes.

FAQ
PTZOptics recordings: common questions.
How long does a 100-minute service take?
Under 4 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 75-minute lecture is back in about 2.5 minutes.
Does the camera itself record?
Usually not; the camera sends its picture to whatever runs the stream, and that device or program records. Look in the recording settings of your switcher, encoder or streaming software to find where files are saved.
What does a month of services cost?
Four 100-minute Sunday services and four one-hour midweek meetings are 640 minutes, inside the $12 pack of 2,000, which lasts about three months. A lecture hall with three 75-minute classes a week for 14 weeks, 3,150 minutes, fits the $24 pack of 5,000.
Where does the transcript's audio come from?
From whatever feeds the stream, usually the sound desk. A clean desk feed gives a better transcript than a camera microphone at the back. Music and singing are not transcribed; the speech is.
Can we send services in more than one language?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, so a service in Spanish or Korean needs no setting, and a bilingual service is detected on its main language.
Which exports come back, and is it private?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. WhipScribe has no integration with PTZOptics or your streaming software.
