Phone calls · usually MP3 · about 2 min per audio hour

Transcribe RingCentral phone call recordings every discovery call, read instead of replayed.

RingCentral phone call recordings transcribe after an admin downloads them (usually as MP3) and uploads them here, at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 45-minute discovery call is text in about a minute and a half. Five reps making four such calls a week record 900 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, after the first 20 minutes free.

Packs from $6, credits never expire · then from $0.36/hour · Credits never expire · Never used to train AI
✓A 45-minute call in about 90 seconds · ✓No bot on the line, ever · ✓Pay once, minutes kept · ✓Call audio is never training data

From the call log to the deal notes

Discovery calls hold the budget, the timeline and the objection. They sit in the call log as audio.

How admins get the files

Call recordings in RingCentral are typically reached through the admin side of the account, from the call log, and the right to download them depends on your role. The files are usually MP3; check the format your account shows. Download a batch into a folder and upload it, or share the folder from Google Drive and paste one link. There is no RingCentral integration and no bot on your lines.

A sales week, priced

Five reps with four 45-minute discovery calls each make 20 calls and 900 minutes a week. That passes the $6 pack's 500, so it goes on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. A month of the same pace is 3,600 minutes and belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, with 1,400 minutes spare.

Long calls stay whole

A two-hour onboarding or renewal call uploads as one file, with no splitting and one clean timeline. Each file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB, far more than any phone call needs. Upload single calls or whole batches on upload page.

What the rep and the manager read

Each call returns with a brief of what was agreed, the questions the prospect asked, and the names, numbers and dates said, like a quoted price or a decision date. Reps and prospects are identified and named in the summary and key quotes. Ask the chat over the transcript which calls mentioned a competitor's contract ending.

Call recordings, as they usually sit

Every call is recorded for a reason nobody remembers. Nobody plays them back.

✗ Recorded and forgotten

A manager hears one call a week; the rest stay audio.

  • Deal notes typed from memory after the call
  • Prices quoted on the call, unverified
  • Coaching based on a single recording
  • Handovers that lose the prospect's own words
  • Hours of audio nobody will replay
  • Searching by date, not by what was said

✓ Recorded and read

Every discovery call as text the team can skim.

  • 900 minutes a week on the $12 pack
  • Next steps and dates listed per call
  • Prospects' questions collected
  • Timestamps to the exact objection
  • DOCX for the deal file
  • JSON for your own pipeline reports

FAQ

RingCentral call recordings, answered.

Does WhipScribe connect to RingCentral?

No. WhipScribe does not connect to RingCentral, has no app in its marketplace, and puts no bot on a live call. The admin downloads recordings; WhipScribe transcribes those files.

Do callers need to consent?

Recording a call needs the consent that the law where you and the caller are requires. Your phone system's recording announcement is where that is usually handled.

How quickly does a week of calls come back?

About 2 minutes per audio hour: 900 minutes, which is 15 hours, take roughly 30 minutes. A single 45-minute call takes about a minute and a half.

What does a week of calls cost?

On a first visit the first 20 minutes are free: a call up to 20 minutes transcribes in full, and a longer one is previewed until a pack from $6 finishes it. One call fits the $6 pack; a 900-minute week takes the $12 pack; a 3,600-minute month takes the $24 pack.

Are call files ever too big?

Rarely. Each file may be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, and before the first pack uploads go up to 2 GB. A compressed phone call is a small fraction of that.

Exports and privacy?

Download each call as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training; remove any batch when your retention period ends.
