Transcribe Swapcard session recordings every track, one talk at a time.
To transcribe a Swapcard session, take its recording as a file (usually an MP4) or as the YouTube or Vimeo replay link it was streamed through, and hand it to WhipScribe: a 40-minute talk comes back in well under 2 minutes. A one-day event with three tracks of six 40-minute sessions is 720 minutes, which sits on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes after the first 20 minutes free.
From Swapcard session to searchable text
Three tracks ran at once. Nobody saw all of them, and the text lets everyone catch up.
Where a Swapcard recording comes from
How a session was streamed decides where its recording lives. Some organisers stream through an outside provider such as YouTube or Vimeo, and the replay link is the quickest route: paste it and skip the download. Others receive the files from their streaming or production team. If you hold a file, it is usually an MP4; check the export settings when unsure. WhipScribe has no Swapcard integration and no bot in the event.
Parallel tracks, kept apart
Multi-track events produce recordings that overlap in time. Upload each session separately rather than stitching a track into one long video: each talk keeps its own chapters, its own brief and its own clean timestamps, and a missing session is easy to spot.
The arithmetic for one event day
Three tracks of six 40-minute sessions add up to 720 minutes. That passes the 500 in the $6 pack, so the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes is the right buy, with 1,280 minutes left for the next event. At about 2 minutes per audio hour, the whole day processes in roughly 24 minutes.
Content the marketing team can reuse
Each talk returns with a brief, chapters with timestamps, the questions the session answered, and the names, numbers and dates speakers gave. Speakers are identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, so a recap post or an on-demand library description takes minutes. Ask the chat over a transcript which talks mentioned a topic.
When the event is over
The sessions were recorded for on-demand viewing. On-demand viewing rarely happens.

FAQ
Swapcard recordings, answered.
Can I paste a Swapcard session link?
Not the Swapcard event page itself. Paste the replay link when the session was streamed to YouTube or Vimeo, or a Google Drive share link to the file, or download the recording and upload it.
How quickly does an event day finish?
Allow about 2 minutes per audio hour: a 40-minute talk in well under 2 minutes and 720 minutes of sessions in about 24. A 3-hour plenary needs around 6 minutes.
What will a whole event cost?
The first 20 minutes are free for a first-time visitor; a talk that runs longer is previewed, and a pack from $6 transcribes the remainder. A single 40-minute talk fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes, and 720 minutes of sessions sit on the $12 pack. Packs are one-time purchases in USD and never expire.
Are there limits on file size?
Up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file, whichever is reached first. Before the first pack the ceiling is 2 GB; a heavier plenary file starts as soon as a pack is on the account.
Is there a Swapcard integration?
No. WhipScribe does not connect to Swapcard and puts no bot in the event. It transcribes the recording or link you give it afterwards.
Exports and privacy?
Each session exports as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Your recordings are transcribed on our own servers and never used for training.
