Recording a process is quick. Writing it down is what never happens.
Gather what you recorded
Most Trainual videos start in a screen recorder, a phone or a meeting tool, and the original file is usually still there, often as MP4 or MOV. Download it from that tool before uploading; if a video sits on YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive, paste the link instead. Screen-recorder share links that are not on that list need a download first.
Short clips and one long walkthrough
Upload each video as its own file; the box on this page takes up to 500 MB, and a long walkthrough that is bigger continues on the main upload page, up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Files up to 2 GB upload before any pack; larger ones start once a pack is bought.
A playbook, priced
Forty-five videos at 6 minutes are 270 minutes; add a 2-hour walkthrough and the total is 390, on the $6 pack of 500 minutes with 110 left. A bigger library of 120 videos at 8 minutes, 960 minutes, sits on the $12 pack of 2,000. The 390 minutes are text in about 13 minutes.
What each video returns

Does WhipScribe connect to Trainual?
No. There is no Trainual integration and nothing to install. You upload the video files you recorded, or paste a YouTube, Vimeo or Drive link, and copy the text into your playbook yourself.
Can the transcript become the written process?
It is the raw material. The spoken steps come back in order with timestamps; edit them into numbered steps, because people speak in asides and repeats that a written process leaves out.
How fast is a library of short videos?
About 2 minutes per audio hour, so a 6-minute video is ready in seconds and 390 minutes of playbook in about 13 minutes. Uploads run alongside each other.
What does it cost?
The first 20 minutes are free for a first-time visitor, so a video up to 20 minutes transcribes in full; a longer one is previewed and a pack from $6 transcribes the rest. 390 minutes fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes; 960 minutes need the $12 pack of 2,000. Credits never expire.
What about screen recordings with music or no talking?
Only speech is transcribed; music and silent screen time are skipped. A video recorded in Spanish or Tagalog is detected automatically, from 99 languages.
Is our internal process content private?
Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Delete videos and transcripts when you are done.
