Transcribe long Uscreen videos classes, programmes and livestream replays.
A long video in a Uscreen membership library is transcribed from the original file the creator owns, and a 75-minute class comes back as text in about 2.5 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and a library of 120 classes at 40 minutes (4,800 minutes) fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.
Membership video, made readable
Members joined for the classes. Text makes every class easier to find again.
The original is on your side
Everything in a Uscreen catalogue started as a file you uploaded, typically an MP4 or MOV exported from your editor or camera. Upload that copy. If it is gone, check the video's options in your Uscreen admin for a download; menus differ by plan and change over time, so look before you plan a whole library around it.
Livestream replays
A live class that Uscreen saves as a replay is still one long recording, often two hours or more. If you streamed it to YouTube at the same time, paste that link. Otherwise send the saved file; the box here takes up to 500 MB and bigger files continue on the main upload page, up to 10 hours or 5 GB each.
A catalogue priced
One hundred and twenty classes of 40 minutes are 4,800 minutes, on the $24 pack of 5,000 with 200 to spare. A six-week programme of 30 sessions at 45 minutes is 1,350 minutes, on the $12 pack of 2,000. A single 2-hour live workshop uses the $6 pack of 500.
What members get back
Class notes from the brief, chapters that mark each section of a session, the cues, numbers and names the instructor says, and the questions the class answers for a help page. The SRT and VTT exports are standard captions; check the video's caption settings in Uscreen for where to add them. Music under a workout is skipped; the coaching is what gets transcribed.

FAQ
Uscreen libraries: frequently asked.
How long does a 75-minute class take?
About 2.5 minutes, at close to 2 minutes per audio hour. A 3-hour live replay takes around 6.
Can I paste my Uscreen video link?
Member pages need a login, so upload the file. A copy on a public YouTube or Vimeo link, or in a shared Google Drive folder, can be pasted instead, and the audio is fetched for you.
Is there a Uscreen integration?
No. WhipScribe has no integration with Uscreen and no access to your storefront or members. You send the files you choose.
What does my catalogue cost?
The first 20 minutes are free. A single 2-hour workshop uses the $6 pack of 500; thirty 45-minute sessions use the $12 pack of 2,000; 120 classes at 40 minutes use the $24 pack of 5,000. Studios that add new classes every week can choose the $19/month Workspace.
My class has loud music. Will it work?
Music is not transcribed; the speech is. Clear cues over a moderate music bed come through well; a voice buried under very loud music gives a weaker result, so a cleaner mix helps.
Which formats, and are member classes private?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and every class can be deleted when you are done.
