Transcribe long Wondershare Filmora projects workshops, courses and long vlogs.
Export the Filmora project as an MP4, or as an audio file such as MP3 when your version's export window lists one, and upload it here; a 4-hour workshop is transcribed in about 8 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free on a first visit, and the workshop uses 240 minutes of the $6 pack of 500 minutes, leaving 260.
Filmora to text
A long Filmora project is mostly people talking. The transcript is where that talking becomes useful.
Choose the export
Click Export, keep the local-file option, and pick MP4 for the video. Many Filmora versions also list audio formats such as MP3 in the same window; check the export settings for one. The file saves to the location shown at the bottom of the export window, which you can change before exporting.
Why audio is lighter
An MP3 at 128 kbps is 128,000 times 3,600 divided by 8, about 58 MB an hour, so a 4-hour workshop is near 230 MB and fits the box on this page. The same workshop as a 1080p MP4 at 8 Mbps is about 14.4 GB, which is over the 5 GB limit, so lower the resolution or use audio.
A course of recordings
Twenty sessions of 3 hours are 3,600 minutes. That is more than the $12 pack holds, so the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes covers the course with 1,400 minutes left over, and those minutes keep.
Course notes, not just text
Each recording returns a brief with the takeaways, chapters by topic with timestamps, the figures and dates said aloud, and the questions it answers. Ask the chat over the transcript to find the moment a step was explained. SRT and VTT add captions to the finished video.

FAQ
Filmora exports: the common questions.
How quickly does a 4-hour Filmora export come back?
In about 8 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. An audio export also uploads in a fraction of the time a full-quality video needs.
What will a single workshop and a whole course cost?
On a first visit, the first 20 minutes are free and a longer recording is previewed; a pack finishes it from where the preview ended. One 4-hour workshop is 240 minutes of the $6 pack. A 20-session course of 3-hour recordings belongs on the $24 pack.
How big can the export be?
One file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before a pack is on the account the ceiling is 2 GB, and a larger file starts once a pack is there. The box on this page takes up to 500 MB; larger files continue on the main upload page.
Does WhipScribe work inside Filmora?
No. There is no Filmora integration, plugin or add-on. You export the file and upload it, or paste a YouTube or Vimeo link if the video is already published.
Can the workshop be in Hindi, Portuguese or Japanese?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, so there is nothing to set before uploading.
Which files can I download, and who sees the workshop?
You get TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Each recording is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for training.
