How large is a class recording?
A 4-hour phone recording as MP3 at 128 kbps is 230.4 MB (16,000 bytes a second times 14,400 seconds), far below the 5 GB per file. Uploads before the first pack go up to 2 GB. Video of a class shared on screen is larger: at 2 Mbps the same 4 hours would be 3.6 GB, so the audio alone is the easier upload.
The academy's class is only on its platform. Can I still transcribe it?
Transcribe what the academy lets you download. A class that only plays in the browser cannot be pasted as a link; a YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive link to a class works directly. Respect the academy's terms on sharing; the transcript is for your own study.
Does it handle Spanish legal and technical vocabulary?
Spanish is detected automatically, one of 99 languages. Article numbers, deadlines and named bodies come out as spoken; the brief collects the names, numbers and dates, which makes checking them against the temario quick. Proper names and article numbers deserve a quick check against the temario before you memorise them.
What can I export, and is the class private?
