Transcribe training recorded in a hospital rounds, in-service and orientation.
Grand rounds, in-service training and new-staff orientation recorded in a hospital run from one hour to a full day, and a 6-hour orientation comes back as text in about 12 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the whole day.
Recording inside a hospital
Conference rooms with pagers, overhead calls and people stepping out. The teaching still gets written down.
Interruptions are part of the file
A hospital teaching room is rarely quiet: overhead announcements, a phone, a door that opens every few minutes. Those sounds are not transcribed, the speech is. A presenter at a lapel or lectern microphone comes through well, and a question from the third row comes through thinner.
Rounds that people missed
Grand rounds happen when half the staff are on shift. A transcript with chapters lets a colleague read the hour in ten minutes and jump to the case discussion or the questions at the end by timestamp.
A full orientation day
Six hours of orientation is 360 minutes, which fits the $6 pack of 500 with 140 minutes to spare for a grand rounds recording. A weekly rounds series over a year needs a larger pack: the $12 pack holds 2,000 minutes. Open upload page or drop the recording below.
Training only, stated plainly
This is for teaching and staff development recordings. It is not a medical device, and nothing here is for patient care or clinical decisions. The privacy sentence is simple: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training any model.
What happens to training recordings
The session was recorded so people could catch up. Nobody has time to watch it.
✗ A video on a shared drive
Recordings of rounds and orientation pile up on the intranet, unwatched, because staff cannot spare an hour to play them.
- Hour-long videos with no index
- Free tools that stop at 30 minutes
- A 6-hour orientation split into fragments
- No written record of the questions asked
- Typing up notes after a night shift
- Policies quoted from memory
✓ Read the session instead
The recording comes back as a document that a nurse or junior doctor can skim between shifts.
- Roughly 2 minutes per audio hour
- The first 20 minutes free for new visitors
- 360 minutes of a $6 pack for a full day
- Chapters for each speaker and topic
- The questions the session answered, listed
- DOCX for the training file, SRT for the video

FAQ
Hospital training recordings, the common questions.
How long does a recorded orientation take to transcribe?
About 2 minutes per hour. A one-hour grand rounds is ready in about 2 minutes, and a 6-hour orientation in about 12. The transcript waits in your Library if you close the page.
What does a 6-hour orientation cost?
It uses 360 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack, $0.72 per audio hour. A year of weekly one-hour rounds, about 52 hours or 3,120 minutes, belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. For a first-time visitor the first 20 minutes are free, and the pack transcribes the rest from where the preview stops.
Can we upload the full-day video without splitting it?
Yes, if it is under 10 hours and 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads up to 2 GB go through; a longer camera recording that is larger starts once a pack is on the account. Exporting the audio alone makes the file much smaller.
Is this for clinical use?
No. It is for training, lectures, rounds held as teaching and orientation. It is not a medical device, and the transcript is not for patient care or clinical decisions. Keep patient-identifying recordings out of it.
Can sessions be in languages other than English?
99 languages are detected automatically, including Tagalog, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew and Afrikaans. A session that moves between English and Tagalog is handled in one recording.
What formats come back, and where is the audio processed?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON all come from one run. Hospital audio is not passed to anyone else: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and you can delete a file whenever you want.
