Transcribe recordings made at a trade show through the noise of the hall.
Recordings from a trade show floor, such as booth demos repeated across an 8-hour day or a 1-hour panel on the show stage, come back as text at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so the booth day takes about 16 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and 480 minutes of booth recording fits a $6 pack of 500.
What a show floor does to a recorder
Thousands of people, a PA calling the next session, and your demo in the middle of it.
Noise from every direction
Exhibition halls are loud, and most of the noise is other people talking, which is the hardest kind to separate. A lapel microphone on the presenter is close enough to win. A camera microphone a few metres back will catch the neighbouring booth as well.
Stage panels are cleaner
Panels and talks on a show stage run through a sound desk, and a feed from that desk gives clean speech. Panellists are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters once the moderator has introduced them.
A show, priced
An 8-hour booth day is 480 minutes, inside a $6 pack of 500. Three show days of booth audio plus six 1-hour panels comes to 1,800 minutes, which the $12 pack of 2,000 covers.
What visitors kept asking
Booth conversations repeat the same questions all day. The brief lists the questions the recording answers, and the chat finds every time someone asked about lead times, so the follow-up quotes what was actually said.
Why show recordings are rarely used
The team comes home with hours of footage and no time to watch it.
✗ Footage that stays on the card
Booth video and panel audio get filed after the show and are rarely opened again.
- Eight hours of booth video per day
- Captions that pick up the next booth
- Panel quotes remembered loosely
- Upload caps far below a show day
- No record of what visitors asked
- A monthly plan for a yearly show
✓ The show as searchable text
Each day and each panel comes back as a document with chapters and a list of what was said.
- Around 16 minutes for a full booth day
- The first 20 minutes free
- Crowd noise and music left out
- Panellists named in the summary and chapters
- Visitor questions, listed
- SRT captions for the panel video

FAQ
Trade show recordings, the questions.
How long does a day of booth recording take?
About 2 minutes per audio hour, so an 8-hour day comes back in around 16 minutes and a 1-hour panel in about 2.
What does a three-day show cost to transcribe?
Three 8-hour booth days make 1,440 minutes; add a few panels and the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes still covers it. A single day fits a $6 pack of 500 after the first 20 minutes free.
The hall was very loud. Is it worth trying?
Read the first 20 minutes free and judge for yourself. Speech close to the microphone usually survives, and the further back the recorder sat, the more the next booth gets in. Music and crowd noise are not transcribed, though a clearly audible PA announcement may appear.
Camera files from the booth run to several gigabytes. Will they upload?
Each file may run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before a pack is on the account, uploads up to 2 GB start right away, and bigger files start after the first pack. Exporting the audio track first makes the upload much smaller.
Visitors spoke different languages. What happens?
Each file is transcribed on its main language, out of 99 detected automatically. Panels in Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese or Korean are covered, while a brief exchange in another language inside an English file may come back less cleanly.
Who can access the recordings, and what do I download?
Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Download TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON, and delete the files once the show follow-up is done.
