Transcribe Spanish Bible study recordings for the members who missed a week.
A weekly Spanish-language Bible study in the US usually runs 1 to 2 hours, and WhipScribe returns a 90-minute recording as a Spanish transcript in about 3 minutes, with the first 20 minutes free. A 13-week quarter of 90-minute studies is 1,170 minutes, which fits one $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.
From the living room circle to a study archive
A weekly group reading in Spanish, kept as text the group can search next year.
The teaching and the discussion
A study group mixes a leader's teaching with an open discussion, and all of that speech is transcribed. Sung worship and chanted recitation are not; the transcript follows the spoken teaching and the conversation around it.
Chapters by passage
Chapters mark where the group moves from one passage or question to the next, so a member who missed the week can open the discussion of the chapter they were reading. The leader's main points come back in the brief. upload page
A year of Tuesdays, costed
A 13-week quarter of 90-minute studies uses 1,170 minutes of a $12 pack. A full year, 52 studies of 90 minutes, is 4,680 minutes and fits the $24 pack of 5,000. A church that records several groups every week may prefer the $19 a month Workspace.
Questions the study answered
The brief lists the questions the study answered, and the chat answers new ones over the transcript, such as which verses were read on prayer or what the leader asked the group to read for next week.
Why study groups lose their discussions
Good discussion happens every week; almost none of it is written down.
✗ Week to week
Most groups have a recording on the leader's phone and a memory of what was said.
- Recordings nobody replays
- Members who miss a week lose the thread
- New leaders start without notes
- English tools that stumble on Spanish
- Long files that free apps cut off
- No way to find a discussion from last spring
✓ A searchable study archive
Each week's recording returns in Spanish with a brief, chapters and a searchable transcript.
- About 3 minutes per 90-minute study
- Leader and members named in the summary
- Chapters per passage or question
- Verses and dates mentioned, listed
- DOCX for a study guide
- A quarter on one $12 pack

FAQ
Bible study recordings, the questions leaders ask.
How long does a weekly study take to transcribe?
About 3 minutes for 90 minutes of audio, and about 4 for a 2-hour study. A 1-hour study takes about 2.
What does a quarter or a year of studies cost?
Thirteen 90-minute studies are 1,170 minutes and fit the $12 pack of 2,000. Fifty-two of them come to 4,680 minutes, inside the $24 pack of 5,000. A first recording gets the first 20 minutes free, and pack minutes never expire.
The leader records on a phone. Is that fine?
Yes. A phone voice memo, often an M4A file, uploads as it is, and a 90-minute memo is far below the 2 GB that uploads before a pack. A study streamed to YouTube can be pasted as a link instead.
Should we split a long evening into the teaching and the discussion?
There is no need. Each file can run 10 hours, and the chapters already separate the teaching from the discussion.
Our group mixes Spanish and English.
The study is detected on its main language and the switches between Spanish and English are handled. A youth group that studies mostly in English is detected as English instead; 99 languages are recognized automatically.
What exports are there, and is it private?
DOCX or TXT for study notes, SRT or VTT to caption a posted video, JSON for a church website. Study recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
