Batches of calls · Spanish detected · $12 per 2,000 min

Transcribe Spanish call center recordings for quality review, one batch at a time.

A US contact center reviewing Spanish-language calls can upload a batch of recordings and get each one back as a Spanish transcript at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, with the first 20 minutes free. A week's QA sample of 150 calls at 12 minutes each is 1,800 minutes, which fits one $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.

From the recording archive to the QA scorecard

Listening to every Spanish call is not possible; reading them is.

Built for a sample, not one call

Most QA teams score a sample of calls each week rather than every call. Export that sample from the phone system, usually as MP3 or WAV files, and upload them as separate files so each call keeps its own transcript, timestamps and brief.

Find the scripted moments

The chapters show where the greeting, verification, the problem, the offer and the close fall in each call. A reviewer checking whether a required disclosure was read can open that point instead of playing the call from the start. upload page

QA minutes, costed

150 calls of 12 minutes is 1,800 minutes, inside the $12 pack. A team sampling 400 calls a month at 12 minutes, 4,800 minutes, fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, which also includes API access. A team that uploads every week may prefer the $19 a month Workspace.

Questions asked of every call

The chat answers questions over a transcript, such as whether the customer asked to cancel or which figure the agent quoted. The names, numbers and dates said on the call are listed, which helps when a dispute turns on the amount that was promised.

Why Spanish QA falls behind

The bilingual reviewer is the bottleneck, not the calls.

✗ Scoring by ear

Spanish calls are often reviewed by the one or two bilingual supervisors who can follow them, at the speed of the audio.

  • Spanish calls scored by whoever speaks Spanish
  • Each call played back in real time
  • English speech tools that miss the Spanish
  • No text to quote in a coaching session
  • Disclosures checked from memory
  • Samples too small to show a trend

✓ Every call in the sample, readable

Each recording returns as Spanish text with chapters, a brief and the numbers that were said.

  • Around 2 minutes per audio hour, per call
  • Agent and caller named in the summary
  • Chapters for greeting, issue and close
  • Amounts and dates said, listed
  • TXT for the QA tool, DOCX for coaching
  • 150 calls on one $12 pack

FAQ

Spanish call QA, the questions supervisors ask.

How long does a batch of Spanish calls take?

Each file runs at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 12-minute call is ready in under a minute and a weekly sample is readable the same day it is uploaded.

What does a month of QA cost?

Add up the minutes. 1,800 minutes of calls fit the $12 pack of 2,000; 4,800 minutes fit the $24 pack of 5,000. A single test call is covered by the first 20 minutes free, and packs are one-time purchases with no subscription.

Can I upload one long file with many calls joined together?

Yes, a joined file of up to 10 hours or 5 GB works, but separate files suit QA better: each call gets its own brief, chapters and timestamps, and a score maps to one transcript.

What formats do call recordings come in?

Phone systems usually export MP3 or WAV, sometimes GSM, and those upload as they are; if the upload refuses a file, convert it to MP3 first. A 12-minute call at 64 kbps is 64,000 bits a second times 720 seconds, about 5.8 MB, far under the 2 GB that uploads before a pack.

What about Spanglish on the line?

A call is detected on its main language. When the customer switches to English for an address or an account term, the switch is handled and the words stay as spoken. The same automatic detection covers 99 languages.

Which exports are there, and how private is it?

TXT or JSON to load into a QA or analytics tool, DOCX for a coaching file, SRT or VTT if a call becomes a training clip. Calls are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, which matters when recordings carry customer details.
