Transcribe a full training day recorded in Brazil.
A training day recorded in Brazil can go up as one file: 6 to 8 hours of Portuguese is transcribed in about 12 to 16 minutes, and one file holds up to 10 hours or 5 GB. The first 20 minutes are free, and a full 8-hour day uses 480 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack.
What a full day becomes
Morning, lunch and afternoon on one clock, cut into the modules people asked about.
Chapters follow the modules
The day is divided into chapters with timestamps where the subject changes, so the compliance module, the system walkthrough and the closing Q&A each have a place to jump to. Nobody has to scrub through eight hours to find the part about the new procedure.
Keep the camera file, or just the sound
A day of screen and camera video can pass 5 GB. If it does, export the audio track: eight hours of M4A at 128 kbps is about 460 MB. Files over 2 GB start once a pack is on the account, and those that fit go up directly or through upload page.
The cost of one day
Eight hours is 480 minutes, which fits the $6 pack of 500. A three-day course of 7 hours a day is 1,260 minutes and fits the $12 pack of 2,000. Credits never expire, so the next turma's training can draw on the same balance.
Material for people who missed it
The brief states the main points and takeaways, and the names, numbers and dates said during the day are listed. That is the starting point for a handout, a checklist or the apostila for the next group.
The trouble with long training recordings
Eight hours of video is the recording nobody watches again.
✗ A day-long video file
The recording sits on a drive, too long to rewatch and too large for most transcription uploads.
- Upload limits measured in minutes
- A day cut into five or six pieces
- Timestamps restarting in every piece
- Notes taken by whoever was awake
- No way to search the afternoon session
- Q&A answers lost after the event
✓ The day as one document
One upload, one transcript and a set of chapters that match how the day was taught.
- Up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file
- Processing at about 2 min per hour
- Instructor and participants named in the summary
- Chapters with timestamps by module
- Search for any term said all day
- $6 covers an 8-hour day

FAQ
Training day recordings: what people ask before uploading.
How long does an 8-hour training day take to transcribe?
About 16 minutes. Speed is about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 6-hour day takes around 12. Close the tab if you like; the transcript waits in your Library.
What does one training day cost?
An 8-hour day is 480 minutes and fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes, with 20 left over. A week of training, five days of 7 hours, is 2,100 minutes and goes on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. Prices are in USD, and the first 20 minutes are free for a first-time visitor.
The video is huge. Will it upload?
One file can be up to 5 GB, and before your first pack an upload can be up to 2 GB; a larger file starts once a pack is on the account. If a day of HD video is over 5 GB, export only the audio and upload that instead.
Do I have to split the day at lunch?
No. A file of up to 10 hours goes in whole, so the morning and afternoon share one clock and the chapters run across the break. A day recorded as two files can go up as two files; each gets its own transcript.
Is Portuguese detected, and what about slides in English?
Portuguese is detected automatically, along with 98 other languages. Short English terms inside Portuguese sentences usually come back as they were said. Text that only appears on a slide and is never said aloud is not in the transcript, because the transcript is of the speech.
Which formats can I export, and is the recording private?
Every export comes from one run: TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. SRT and VTT add captions to the training video for colleagues who watch it later. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
