Transcribe a full training day in Japan with a chapter for every module.

A training day from Japan of 6 to 8 hours uploads as one file and comes back in about 2 minutes per audio hour, so 8 hours takes roughly 16 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the rest of an 8-hour day with 20 minutes to spare.

A whole day of training, organised

Modules, exercises and the questions people asked, ready for the people who missed it.

Chapters by module

Chapters with timestamps follow the day as it moves from one module to the next, so a new hire can go straight to the safety section or the system walkthrough.

The full day in one upload

Leave the recorder running from the morning welcome to the closing remarks. One file takes up to 10 hours or 5 GB, so lunch and breaks stay in the same file without editing.

Handouts from the text

Export DOCX and turn the trainer's explanations into a handout or a set of notes. The brief lists the main takeaways of the day as a starting outline.

A three-day programme, priced

Three 7-hour days are 21 hours, or 1,260 minutes. The $12 pack of 2,000 minutes covers the programme and leaves 740 minutes for the next one.

Why training recordings go unwatched

Nobody replays an 8-hour video to find one explanation.

✗ The recording nobody opens

A full day is recorded for people who missed it, and then it sits in a shared folder. Teams that run the same course every quarter record it again and again without ever indexing it.

  • Eight hours of video with no index
  • Files too long for short-clip tools
  • Splitting the day at every break
  • Notes as good as whoever took them
  • Questions from the floor lost
  • No captions for the replay

✓ The day, indexed

One upload gives you the text, the modules as chapters and captions for the video.

  • Eight hours back in about 16 minutes
  • A chapter for each module
  • Trainer and questions in the summary and quotes
  • Takeaways listed in the brief
  • SRT and VTT for the video replay
  • DOCX for handouts

00:05:12 Welcome. We have four modules today. We break for lunch after the second, and there is an exercise at the end of each.
02:14:40 Module three is the approval flow. Watch the order here, because the second approval has to come from a different department.
02:31:08 If the approver is away, does the request wait, or does it go to their deputy automatically?
07:38:25 That is the end of the day. The checklist for module four is in the shared folder, please complete it by Friday.

FAQ

Training day recordings from Japan, the common questions.

How long does an 8-hour training day take?

Around 16 minutes, at about 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 6-hour day usually takes about 12. The transcript waits in your Library if you close the tab.

What does an 8-hour training day cost?

Eight hours is 480 minutes, which fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes with 20 left. A 6-hour day uses 360 and leaves 140. For a programme that runs over several days, the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes covers about 33 hours.

The day was recorded as video. Is the file too large?

A training-day file is accepted up to 5 GB and 10 hours. Before the first pack, uploads stop at 2 GB; a full day of video often exceeds that, and it starts as soon as a pack is on the account. Uploading the audio track alone keeps the file small.

Do I need to split the day into modules first?

No. Upload the whole day and the chapters mark each module. You only need two files if the recording runs past 10 hours.

Does it handle Japanese training with English terms?

The language is detected for you, and Japanese is one of 99. A day held mainly in Japanese is transcribed on that language, so English product terms and slide titles are worth a quick check.

What can I export, and is the training material kept private?

Five formats come from each run: TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Internal training content is safe to send: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training any model.
