Transcribe an isiZulu church service sermon included.
A 3-hour isiZulu church service is transcribed in about 6 minutes, with isiZulu detected automatically and the singing left out of the text. The first 20 minutes are free; a month of four 3-hour Sundays is 720 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.
For church media and secretaries
The sermon in isiZulu, written down for members who could not attend.
The message, not the music
Hymns, choir items and instruments are not transcribed. The prayers, readings, sermon and announcements are.
Each part of the service
Chapters mark the opening prayer, the reading, the sermon and the notices, so the media team can find each one by its time.
Livestream replays from a link
Paste the YouTube replay link, or download a Facebook live replay and upload it. Long service videos go through upload page.
Notes for home groups
The brief gives the sermon's thesis and takeaways, and the questions it answers make a discussion guide for the week.
Why isiZulu sermons rarely get written down
A long service with singing throughout, and most tools expect English speech.

FAQ
isiZulu church services, answered.
How long does a 3-hour service take?
About 6 minutes for the full isiZulu service, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. A 2-hour service is ready in about 4. The media team can send the replay when the livestream ends and have the sermon text before the congregation has left the grounds.
What do a month and a year of isiZulu services cost?
Four Sundays of 3 hours are 720 minutes, on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. A year of weekly 3-hour services is 156 hours, or 9,360 minutes, which takes two $24 packs of 5,000 minutes. A church that records every week can also look at the $19 a month Workspace. The church pays in US dollars. Many churches send only the services with a full sermon, which stretches each pack further than a strict weekly count.
Is the singing transcribed?
No. Music, singing and chanting are not transcribed; the speech is. A service with long praise sections still gives a clean text of the prayers, readings and sermon. Services with long praise and worship sections use pack minutes for their full length, even though only the speech appears in the text.
The preacher moves between isiZulu and English. Does that work?
The service is detected on its main language, isiZulu, and switches into English are handled. Check names and scripture references against the audio with the timestamps. isiZulu proverbs and idioms are transcribed as spoken; the sermon brief and quotes then carry them into the week's notes.
What is the file limit for a service video?
Any single service file can last up to 10 hours or reach 5 GB. Before your first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB; a bigger video starts once a pack is on the account. A 3-hour service video recorded in high definition can pass 2 GB, so a first upload may need the audio only, or a pack on the account.
What files come back, and does the service recording stay private?
The media team receives TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON from each service. Services are transcribed on our own servers, never used to train a model, and can be deleted from your Library at any time. Members who live far from home often read the sermon text during the week, which is one of the main reasons churches keep the transcript.
