Podcast transcript from a link: RSS feed or episode URL.

Paste a podcast link and get the episode as text. A show's RSS feed, an episode's MP3 address and an Apple Podcasts episode link all work; a Spotify link does not, and there is a way round that.

The file you have

Which podcast links work.

RSS feed
Works. The feed address transcribes the newest episode in it.
Episode MP3 address
Works for any episode. It is the enclosure link inside the feed, and it ends in .mp3 or .m4a.
Apple Podcasts episode link
Works. Share → Copy Link on the episode in Apple Podcasts.
Episode page on the host
Works on Podbean, Transistor, Captivate, Libsyn and Buzzsprout: the episode on that page is the one transcribed. If a page does not say which episode it is, nothing is queued and you are asked for the episode's MP3 link; it never falls back to the newest episode.
Spotify link
Does not work: Spotify's audio is protected. Find the same episode in Apple Podcasts or the show's feed and use that link.

A link works here. Paste the link in the box above. One link is one episode.

How it works

Three steps, the first one is the only one that takes any thought.

1

Find a link that works

Copy the episode's link from Apple Podcasts, or the feed address from the show's website (often labelled RSS).

2

Paste it here

The audio is fetched from the podcast's host; about two minutes of processing per hour of episode.

3

Read, search, quote

The summary is free to read. A pack opens the full transcript with timestamps and exports.

Good to know

What trips people up, and what to do about it.

Example. A listener wants the transcript of a two-and-a-half-hour interview episode. They copy the episode's link from Apple Podcasts and paste it here; the summary appears about five minutes later and the $4 pack opens the full text, with 350 minutes left over for the next episodes. Checked 4 October 2026: a public RSS feed address and an Apple Podcasts episode link pasted through this site each came back as text; a Spotify episode link was refused with a message saying the audio is protected.

What comes back

More than a wall of text.

The same four things for every podcast recording, whatever its length.

A transcript with timestamps

Every line carries its time. Click a line to hear that second again, or search a name or phrase and jump to each place it was said.

A summary, chapters and key quotes

A brief with the takeaways, chapters with their start times, and the quotes worth keeping. Speakers are identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters.

Questions answered from the recording

Ask where a topic came up or what was decided, and get the answer with the time it was said, instead of scrolling the whole text.

Every export

TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT, JSON from the same transcript: a document to edit, caption files for video, plain text to paste, structured data for your own tools.

Pricing

Free preview. Packs from $4, and the minutes never expire.

A two-and-a-half-hour episode is 150 minutes, so the $4 pack (500 minutes) covers it 3 times over. Every recording gets a free preview and a summary you can read before paying; a pack opens the full transcript and every export. Packs are one-time purchases with no subscription and no seat fee.

Pick a pack to open secure checkout. Workspace is $19 a month for unlimited transcription (300-hour fair-use mark). Full pricing

What we measured, last 30 days

1,901 recordings, 830 audio hours, 64 languages detected. An hour of audio came back in 3.7 minutes for half of the recordings and within 19.7 minutes for nine in ten, measured from the moment the file landed to the finished transcript. Refreshed 2026-10-02; method on how we test.

FAQ

Podcast RSS feed to text, answered.

How do I get a transcript of a podcast from a link?

Paste the show's RSS feed, the episode's MP3 address or its Apple Podcasts link in the box on this page. The episode is fetched and transcribed with timestamps, and the summary is free to read.

Can I use a Spotify link?

No. Spotify protects its audio, so no tool can download it. Nearly every show on Spotify is also on Apple Podcasts or has a public feed; use that link for the same episode.

Which episode does an RSS feed link transcribe?

The newest one in the feed. For any other episode, paste that episode's own MP3 address or its Apple Podcasts link.

Is it legal to transcribe someone else's podcast?

Transcribing for your own reading, research or accessibility is ordinary use. Republishing a full transcript of someone else's show needs their permission.

What does transcribing podcast recordings cost?

The preview and the summary are free. A pack opens the full transcript: $4 for 500 minutes, $8 for 1,000 minutes, $12 for 2,000 minutes, $24 for 5,000 minutes. Packs are one-time, credits never expire, and Workspace is $19 a month if you transcribe every week.

How long can the recording be?

One file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB. The box on this page takes files up to 500 MB; a larger file continues on the main upload page, which uploads it in parts. Most recordings come back in about two minutes per hour of audio.

Is the recording kept private?

Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. You can delete a recording and its transcript at any time.
