WebinarJam and EverWebinar · replay MP4

Transcribe a WebinarJam replay to text.

WebinarJam saves each live session as a replay you can download as an MP4 from the webinar's links. Drop that file here for a timestamped transcript, a summary for the follow-up email, chapters and caption files.

The file you have

Where WebinarJam keeps the replay.

Format
MP4, from the download icon on the replay.
Where to find it
Webinars → your webinar → Your links → Replay, then pick the session from the drop-down. A second drop-down appears when one session has several recordings; pick by start time and duration.
When it is ready
Not straight away: WebinarJam says to allow up to the full length of the session for the recording to finish. The download button is grey until then, and absent if the session never went live.
EverWebinar
Automated webinars play a pre-recorded video, so the same menu downloads a copy of that source video.

There is no link to paste for this one. A replay page link plays inside WebinarJam's own room and cannot be pasted here. Download the MP4 from Your links → Replay and upload it.

How it works

Three steps, the first one is the only one that takes any thought.

1

Open the replay links

In WebinarJam go to Webinars, find the event, open Your links → Replay and choose the session.

2

Download and drop it

Click the download icon to save the MP4, then drop it in the box. If it plays in the browser instead, right-click the player and choose Save video as.

3

Read, then export

The summary and a preview are free. A pack opens the full transcript with TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON exports.

Good to know

What trips people up, and what to do about it.

Example. A 90-minute sales webinar is ready in WebinarJam as one MP4 within about the length of the session. Uploaded here, it returns chapters for the talk, the demo and the Q&A, the questions attendees asked with the time each was answered, and a summary that can go straight into the replay email.

What comes back

More than a wall of text.

The same four things for every WebinarJam recording, whatever its length.

A transcript with timestamps

Every line carries its time. Click a line to hear that second again, or search a name or phrase and jump to each place it was said.

A summary, chapters and key quotes

A brief with the takeaways, chapters with their start times, and the quotes worth keeping. Speakers are identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters.

Questions answered from the recording

Ask where a topic came up or what was decided, and get the answer with the time it was said, instead of scrolling the whole text.

Every export

TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT, JSON from the same transcript: a document to edit, caption files for video, plain text to paste, structured data for your own tools.

Pricing

Free preview. Packs from $6, and the minutes never expire.

A 90-minute webinar is 90 minutes, so the $6 pack (500 minutes) covers it 5 times over. Every recording gets a free preview and a summary you can read before paying; a pack opens the full transcript and every export. Packs are one-time purchases with no subscription and no seat fee.

Pick a pack to open secure checkout. Workspace is $19 a month for unlimited transcription (300-hour fair-use mark). Full pricing

What we measured, last 30 days

2,547 recordings, 1,244 audio hours, 66 languages detected. An hour of audio came back in 3.5 minutes for half of the recordings and within 18.0 minutes for nine in ten, measured from the moment the file landed to the finished transcript. Refreshed 2026-10-07; method on how we test.

FAQ

WebinarJam to text, answered.

How do I download a WebinarJam replay?

Go to Webinars, open Your links → Replay for the event, pick the session from the drop-down and click the download icon to save the MP4. Then drop it in the box on this page.

Why is the WebinarJam download button grey?

The recording is still being processed. WebinarJam says it can take up to the length of the session; it is also unavailable if the session never went live.

Can I transcribe an EverWebinar video?

Yes. In EverWebinar the same Your links → Replay menu downloads the pre-recorded source video, and that file uploads like any other MP4.

Do Just-in-Time and Instant Replay sessions have a download?

Those on-demand session types do not appear in the Your links → Replay list. In EverWebinar the same menu downloads the pre-recorded source video they play, which you can upload here.

What does transcribing WebinarJam recordings cost?

The preview and the summary are free. A pack opens the full transcript: $6 for 500 minutes, $8 for 1,000 minutes, $12 for 2,000 minutes, $24 for 5,000 minutes. Packs are one-time, credits never expire, and Workspace is $19 a month if you transcribe every week.

How long can the recording be?

One file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB. The box on this page takes files up to 500 MB; a larger file continues on the main upload page, which uploads it in parts. Most recordings come back in about two minutes per hour of audio.

Is the recording kept private?

Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. You can delete a recording and its transcript at any time.
