Send the video or a link and download Ukrainian SRT and VTT files with cues from word-level timings. Ukrainian audio returns Ukrainian cue text. For the transcript by itself, that page is here. No charge for your first recording up to 3 hours, then $8 buys 1,000 minutes.
The route
Browser-based, with no cue typed by hand.
Video, audio or a link. Larger recordings continue on the upload page, which takes up to 10 hours or 5 GB.
Timings sit on every word. Toponyms such as Кропивницький, Ужгород and Хмельницький are the ones to verify first.
SRT for editing suites and uploads, VTT for browsers, plus TXT, DOCX, JSON and MD.
Captioning Ukrainian
Ukrainian uses Cyrillic, but not the same set as its neighbours. І, Ї, Є and Ґ are Ukrainian letters, and И and Е do not sound like their lookalikes elsewhere. The practical consequence for captions is font coverage: a font built for a different Cyrillic language can be missing Ґ and will substitute a fallback glyph or a box, in the middle of an otherwise correct line. Test a cue containing ґ in the actual player before you sign off a file.
The apostrophe is a real letter-level mark, not punctuation for quoting. Words such as м'ясо, п'ять and об'єкт need it, and a tool that treats it as a smart quote and swaps in a curly mark changes the spelling. Keep the downloaded file untouched by an autocorrecting editor on its way into your video.
Caption downloads hold cue text and timecodes only, so nothing prefixes the line with a name. The transcript view shows who is speaking, and the JSON export from the same run carries that structure.
Delivery
Sidecar track, editor import, or burned into the frame.
Attach the SRT as the Ukrainian track in Studio. Uploaded cue files are indexed, so the words become searchable.
Text in the frame travels better through feeds and chats. Import the SRT into your editor and check the font covers ґ.
Both take SRT onto a caption track with the cue timings preserved, ready for restyling in the project.
VTT loads through an HTML5 track element. For published video, start from the link.
Pricing
A pack from $4 opens the full transcript, and the caption exports come with it. After that, one-time packs: $8 for 1,000 minutes, $12 for 2,000 minutes, $24 for 5,000 minutes, credits that never lapse.

FAQ
Ukrainian. The cue text follows the spoken language, so Ukrainian audio produces Ukrainian captions and nothing is converted into another language.
The font is missing a Ukrainian-specific character, most often ґ. Choose a font with full Ukrainian coverage and preview a cue that contains it.
Yes, and it should be left alone. An editor that replaces it with a curly typographic quote changes the spelling of the word.
Generally yes. Words are longer and heavily inflected, so plan for more cues rather than longer lines.
Ukrainian inflects nouns, including the vocative used when addressing someone, so a name legitimately appears in several forms.
No. Speaker separation appears in the transcript view and the JSON export; SRT and VTT carry cue text and timings.
Free preview with no account. A first recording running to 3 hours costs nothing.
