Upload the video or paste a link and download Hindi SRT and VTT files with cues built from word-level timings. Hindi speech returns Hindi cue text in Devanagari. If it is the transcript you want, that page is here. First recording free at any length, with 1,000 minutes at $8 after that.
How it works
Nothing installs and no cue is typed by hand.
Video or audio upload, or a link. Bigger masters continue on the upload page, which accepts up to 10 hours or 5 GB.
Timings sit on individual words, so moving through the recording is quick. Names and technical terms are the ones worth a correction pass.
SRT for editors and platform uploads, VTT for browsers, plus TXT, DOCX, JSON and MD from the same run.
Captioning Hindi
Devanagari does not count characters the way Latin script does. A written syllable is a cluster: a consonant, possibly a conjunct joining two or three consonants, plus vowel signs that hang above, below or on either side. क्ष and त्र occupy one visual slot but several code points, so a caption tool that measures a line in code points will report a length the viewer never sees, and a tool that truncates by code point can cut a cluster in half and leave a floating vowel sign.
Font support is the second thing to check. Devanagari needs a font with proper shaping to place the matras correctly; a player falling back to a generic font can render the base letters in the right order with the vowel marks visibly detached. Preview one cue in the actual player before you commit to a whole series.
The SRT and VTT you download are cue text and timings, so nothing prefixes a line with a speaker name. Voice separation is visible in the transcript view, and the JSON export from the same job carries it as data.
Delivery
One export, several destinations.
Attach the SRT as the Hindi track in Studio. An uploaded file replaces the automatic captions and the text becomes searchable.
Vertical platforms burn text into the frame. Bring the SRT into your editor, and pick a font that shapes Devanagari properly.
Both import SRT onto a caption track with the timings intact; check the chosen font renders conjuncts before you export the master.
An HTML5 track element is what expects a VTT file. For video already published, build from the link.
Pricing
a pack from $4 opens the full transcript, with caption exports included. Then the packs are one-time: $8 for 1,000 minutes, $12 for 2,000 and $24 for 5,000, with credits that stay until spent.
| Hindi video | $8 pack | $12 pack | $24 pack |

| 16-minute explainer | $0.13 | $0.10 | $0.08 |
| 60-minute panel | $0.48 | $0.36 | $0.29 |
| 160-minute event recording | $1.28 | $0.96 | $0.77 |
Each figure is the share of a single pack the recording uses. Formats are never billed separately; details on the pricing page.
FAQ
Hindi, written in Devanagari. Cue text follows the language that was spoken, and it is not converted into any other language.
The player fell back to a font without proper Devanagari shaping. Preview a cue in the real player and choose a font that supports the script.
Not by code point. A conjunct cluster takes several code points but one visual slot, so measure what the viewer sees rather than what the file stores.
They appear as spoken, in the script the speaker used. Ordinary conversational mixing is written rather than smoothed away.
No. SRT and VTT contain cue text and timings only; the transcript view separates the voices and JSON records that separation.
Ten hours or 5 GB is the ceiling for one file.
Free preview without signing up. The first recording, up to 3 hours, comes at no cost.
