Team transcription with one login per person and one bill.
$19 a month covers you and up to 4 team members: their own logins, your own work private. Their work in your Library, or private to each of them. You choose. No seat fee.
$19 a month for up to five people · 300-hour fair-use mark, pooled · ~2 min per hour of audio · 99+ languages · private, never used for training
A team that shares one transcription login shares one inbox, one password and one pile of recordings nobody can tell apart. A team that buys a seat per person pays five times for software most of them open twice a week. WhipScribe's Workspace plan is the third way: one $19 a month plan, up to 4 team members added by email, each with their own login, and every transcript they make filed in the owner's Library with their name on it.
Built for team transcription
What matters when a team shares one transcription plan?
Their own logins, your Library
Each member signs in with their own email. No shared password, no shared inbox. Their work in your Library, or private to each of them. You choose. In your Library each transcript is marked with who made it, with the summary, chapters and chat ready to read. Your own transcripts stay private, and members never see each other's work.
No seat fee, no per-member bill
The plan is $19 a month whether one person or five use it. Members are never charged, and credits a member already holds are never touched. One bill, on the owner's card, through Paddle.
One pooled fair-use mark
Workspace is unlimited transcription for files, links and recordings of any length, with a fair-use mark of 300 hours of audio per billing period, pooled across the whole team. Past it, new uploads from anyone on the plan are spaced out for the rest of the period; nothing is refused and nothing costs extra.
Remove someone in two clicks
On the Credits page, a member's row has a Remove button. They stop transcribing on your plan straight away, whatever of theirs is in your Library stays there, and they keep their own login and their own copy. The freed seat can go to someone else after 30 days.
How it works
How do I add my team to the plan?
Start Workspace
Subscribe from the Teams page or pricing, $19 a month. The plan is on your account the moment payment clears.
Open your Credits page
Sign in and open Credits. Under your plan is the Team card with your seats: Seats 0 of 4 on a new plan.
Add an email
Type a team member's email in the Team card and press Add. Use the address they sign in with. Up to 4; Remove anyone later from the same card.
They sign in and transcribe
The member signs in at whipscribe.com with that email, uploads or records as usual, and everything they make runs on your plan. It appears in your Library with a by chip, unless you have set members' work to private in the same card.
Step by step, with what the Team card says when an email cannot be added: how to share a Workspace plan with your team.

Questions
What people ask before putting a team on one plan.
How many people can share one WhipScribe plan?
five: the person who pays, plus up to 4 team members. Every member signs in with their own email and transcribes on the one plan. The plan is $19 a month whether one person or five use it.
Do team members need their own account or password?
Each member signs in with their own email, the one the owner typed into the Team card. If they already have a WhipScribe account under that email it keeps working and simply transcribes on the plan now; if not, they sign up with that email like anyone else. There is no invitation to accept.
Can the team share one set of credit packs instead?
No. Credit packs ($4 for 300 minutes, $18 for 3,000 minutes and $32 for 6,000) stay on the account that bought them. The plan a team shares is Workspace, $19 a month, which covers the owner and up to 4 members on one pooled fair-use mark.
Can I assign recordings to a team member or give them their own limit?
Not today. Members upload under their own login and the work lands in your Library, or stays private to them if you set it that way; the fair-use mark is one pool for the whole plan, and the Credits page shows how much each member has used this period.
What happens to the team if I cancel?
The plan, and the team with it, stays active to the end of the period you paid for. After that members stop transcribing on your plan and are back on whatever credits they hold themselves. Your Library keeps everything in it, yours and theirs.
