Upload the video or paste a link and download Czech SRT and VTT files, cued from word-level timings. Czech speech returns Czech cue text. For the transcript without cue numbers, see the Czech transcript page. The opening recording up to 3 hours costs nothing, then $8 per 1,000 minutes.
The path
Nothing installed, nothing timed manually.
Upload a video or an audio file, or paste a link. Anything the box will not take carries on at the upload page, to 10 hours or 5 GB.
Each word has its own timing. Names like Plzeň, Hradec Králové and Český Krumlov are the ones worth confirming.
SRT for editors and platform uploads, VTT for browser players, plus TXT, DOCX, JSON and MD.
Captioning Czech
Czech marks vowel length with an acute and softens consonants with a caron, and both change meaning outright. Byt is a flat and být is to be; dráha is a track and drahá is expensive. A caption file that has lost its diacritics is not merely informal — it is a different set of words, and viewers read it as broken. The two rings, ů and ú, are the same sound spelled differently depending on where it sits in the word, so they are not interchangeable either.
Ř has no equivalent anywhere else, and it is the letter most likely to be missing from a font chosen for its Latin coverage. Preview a cue containing ř and ě in the actual player rather than trusting the editor preview, which usually falls back to a system font with fuller coverage than the delivery player has.
SRT and VTT downloads contain cue text and timings, so no caption line opens with a speaker name. The on-screen transcript separates the voices, and the JSON export from the same job carries that as structured data.
Delivery
Attach the sidecar or burn the text in.
Add the SRT as the Czech track in Studio. Uploaded files replace the automatic captions and are indexed for search.
Silent autoplay means burned-in captions do the work. Import the SRT into your editor and confirm the font has ř and ě.
SRT lands on a caption track with the timings preserved, ready for the Resolve grade and style pass.
VTT loads through an HTML5 track element and is accepted by most course platforms. Work from a link for published video.
Pricing
A pack from $4 opens the full transcript, caption exports included. Then the packs are one-time purchases: $8 for 1,000 minutes, $12 for 2,000 minutes, $24 for 5,000 minutes, and nothing expires.
| Czech video | $8 pack | $12 pack | $24 pack |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12-minute video návod | $0.10 | $0.07 | $0.06 |
| 50-minute přednáška | $0.40 | $0.30 | $0.24 |
| 130-minute zasedání | $1.04 | $0.78 | $0.62 |
Each value is the share of one pack that recording uses. No format is charged separately; details on the pricing page.
FAQ
Czech. Captions are written in the language that was spoken, so Czech audio produces Czech cue text and nothing is converted into another language.
They change the word. Byt and být, or dráha and drahá, are different words, so a file stripped of its marks says something else.
No. They represent the same sound but are spelled differently according to where the vowel falls in the word, and swapping them is a spelling error.
The delivery font lacks the character. Test a cue containing ř and ě in the real player, since editor previews often substitute a fuller system font.
Czech puts the emphasis late, so a cue that stops before the end of a clause can leave the reader with the wrong impression of the point.
No. SRT and VTT hold cue text and timings, while the transcript view shows the separation and the JSON export stores it.
The preview opens without an account. A first recording of up to 3 hours comes free.
