Anonymising and consent
The transcript records what was said. Protecting participants is part of your method, not something software does for you.
Names, places and employers appear exactly as spoken. Replace them with pseudonyms yourself: edit a line in the transcript view and save, or work in the exported document, following your study's plan.
If your method links pseudonyms to real identities, keep that key apart from the transcripts, in the place your data management plan describes.
Whipscribe does not review consent forms or approve studies. Whether an online transcription service fits your project is a question for your supervisor or the body that approved your study.
